Big Update: Version 4.0 of 1973, CMX, and Event Horizon is Live! 29th November 2025

I'm excited to finally release major new updates to three of my most-loved plugins: 1973, CMX, and Event Horizon. Version 4.0 brings them fully into the modern era while preserving the sound and workflow that engineers rely on.

Native Apple Silicon

These plugins now run natively on all Apple Silicon machines—fast, efficient, and without Rosetta translation. Intel Macs remain fully supported as well.

Early Windows-on-ARM Support

Microsoft is pushing Win-on-ARM hard, and I want to be ready. These builds include early ARM64EC/ARM-aware support so the plugins work today and have a clean path forward as the platform matures.

Retina / HiDPI Graphics

Every interface has been refreshed with high-resolution, @2x artwork designed to look razor-sharp on Retina and HiDPI displays.

Looks like most of the problem was the latest update to Safari from Apple – we had to make some changes to CSS stylesheets and all was well. Worst case, you may need to clear your browser's cache if you continue to see badly-formatted text or non-working elements like the download drop-down.
